PRO – LIFE VICTORY !
Partial Birth Abortion is BANNED throughout the USA !!!!
Pro-life organizations enthused by Wednesday’s US Supreme Court decision, are calling for immediate enforcement of the 2003 Partial Birth Abortion ban by the US Justice Department.
In New Jersey, a number of pro-life organizations, including New Jersey Right to Life, the Legal Centre for Defence of Life, and Crossing Over Ministry, held a press conference Thursday outside Metropolitan Medical Associates, an abortion provider, demanding enforcement of the upheld abortion law.
The LifeLeague says: We welcome this immense victory against abortion. We thank God for the conservative judges that President Bush has appointed to the Supreme Court. May he appoint many more. We now look forward to this victory being pushed home and abortion being systematically dismantled throughout not only the entire USA, but the whole world.

British Study of Hospitals over 20 Years Finds Many Babies Survive Abortion |
|
| |
A new study from Britain involving an analysis of 20 years of data covering 10 hospitals finds that one seriously handicapped baby in 30 survives an abortion attempt. The survey sheds more light on how many abortions are unsuccessful and the kind of care medical facilities should offer babies who survive botched abortions.
Many of the babies who survived the failed abortions were born at 20-24 weeks into the pregnancy at West Midlands hospitals. That's just before and right at the point of viability.
The LifeLeague says: We suggest that you contact the Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt MP, Her Majesty’s Secretary of State for Health. Ask her the following question - if 102 out of 3,189 babies aborted for reasons of impairment are born alive, then how many healthy babies must be surviving?
Please click here to contact Patricia Hewitt MP.

UPDATE: Northern Ireland Campaign Against Back Door Abortion sees 50,000 Pro-Life Submissions Presented at Stormont
|
|
| |
Pro Lifers marched to Parliament Buildings in Belfast to present 50,000 submissions opposing abortion to the new Ulster Unionist Health Minister, Michael McGimpsey MLA. They assembled at the gates of Stormont and prayed as they marched up to Parliament Buildings carrying a banner stating "The people of Northern Ireland say… Abortion? – Not in My Name". People representing counties Antrim, Down, Armagh, Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Londonderry each held large signs saying ‘Not in My Name’.
The campaign was launched in response to draft guidelines on “termination of pregnancy” issued in January by the Department of Health who are trying to introduce abortion-on-demand into Northern Ireland 'through the back door'.
The LifeLeague says: The Ulster Unionist Party has traditionally taken pro-life positions. Michael McGimpsey MLA, the new Health Minister, hails from the same constituency as that great pro-life statesman and parliamentarian – Rev Martin Smyth MP. Please click here to contact him and urge him to fully support our campaign against ‘back door abortion’ in Northern Ireland.

Sharp Pro-Life Backlash Against UK Pro-Abortion Columnist
|
|
| |
In perhaps one of the most pro-abortion commentaries in recent years, Caitlin Moran, columnist for The Times, wrote:
“…In short, while I am now packing something just short of the contraceptive equivalent of Trident, if I ever did have to have an abortion again, I would like to think that it would be something unlikely to provoke a moral dilemma in anyone, least of all me. I would like to see a time when abortion is considered an intelligent, logical, humble, compassionate thing to do. I would like abortion to be considered as, perversely, one of the ultimate acts of good mothering.”
The LifeLeague says: We suggest that you contact Caitlin Moran and ask her if she would deem it ‘intelligent, logical, humble and compassionate’ were someone to cruelly and deliberately murder her, an innocent person, just because they found her existence to be an inconvenience?
Please click here to contact Caitlin Moran, mark your message for her attention.
