LifeLeague gain massive publicity in our campaign against the Morning-After Pill in Lutterworth Grammar School !

Since the LifeLeague began its campaign, we have received lots of threatening and abusive messages from pupils at the school, which all goes to show that something is fundamentally wrong. Clearly these confused young people need our prayers and input in their lives in order to counteract the anti-life message of the chemical abortion / morning-after pill.

Farewell Comrades !

LifeLeague's long campaign against the rabid pro-abortionists of the Scottish Socialist Party and Green Party bore fruit in recent Scottish elections. The Scottish Socialist Party and the marxist Solidarity Party suffered a complete wipeout - losing all of their seats. The Greens lost over 66% of their MSPs!

The LifeLeague says: The evil marxist forces of the militant Scottish left tried repeatedly, through physical attacks and confrontation, to force LifeLeague prayer vigils (mostly made up of pensioners) off the streets. Whilst they succeeded with SPUC and Life, they never moved us and they never will. Click here for more details. 'Good riddance to bad rubbish'.

Why not click here to email the SSP and share your commiserations with them.

Good News - Bush Vows to Veto Abortion-Rights Bills

President Bush is warning that any attempt to weaken federal policies that restrict abortion will be met with a veto. White House deputy press secretary Tony Fratto said Friday that the warning, issued in letters to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, was intended to stop abortion amendments from being added to spending bills and other legislation that Congress will be considering in the coming weeks.

The LifeLeague says: We warmly commend President Bush on his continuing opposition to abortion. We urge our American friends to press home now on the recent victories they have secured.

More Good News - Fifth of GPs want abortion ban

Opposition to abortions is growing among family doctors with nearly a quarter refusing to refer women for terminations and a fifth wanting the procedure banned outright, according to a survey published today.

The poll by doctors' newspaper Pulse found 24% of GPs would not sign referral forms for an abortion and 19% believe abortion should be illegal.

The LifeLeague says: We welcome this most encouraging development and hope to see it continue. Since 1997, LifeLeague have worked hard to 'stigmatise' abortion, thus rendering it an unpopular career move with doctors. We now see our much criticised strategy beginning to bear fruit.

The Harbinger of 'Sex Selective Abortion' in the UK

It is very difficult to see the purpose of a blood test kit which reveals the sex of the unborn child at six weeks, particularly at £189 a go. The marketing ploy of 'Consumer Genetics Inc', claiming that many parents want to know in advance whether they will have a boy or a girl so that they can decorate the nursery in the right colour, seems particularly frivolous when one thinks of the more sinister potential of this test.

The LifeLeague says: Clearly this new development paves the way to unbridled sex selective abortion, the like of which would put India and China to shame.

We suggest that you contact Feminist Fightback, who seem so keen on abortion (click here for further details) and remind them that (mostly female) babies should not be killed on the basis of their sex (which is what this new development would amount to). Ask them what they are doing to stand up for the women of tomorrow. Please click here to do so.
