''Does the birth control pill cause abortions?" is a 115 page book in which Randy Acorn, using research results from medical literature, convincingly shows that the answer is 'yes'. He has, with care and compassion, given us the truth. The question for us as Christians is how we will respond now that we know.

LifeLeague Victory! British Practitioner Who Botched Abortion Won't Get Medical License Back |
|
| |
British abortion practitioner Andrew Gbinigie nearly killed a woman in a botched abortion and was the subject of charges of sexual harassment from 35 women. He has been unable to find a job since multiple hearings were held on the cases and has now lost an appeal to get his medical license reinstated.
The LifeLeague says: This is a major victory for LifeLeague. We have been waging an ongoing campaign against Andrew Gbinigie, seeking to see him never practice medicine again. We thank God for this great victory. |

Catholic Leaders are Abandoning Amnesty |
|
| |
Yet another prominent member has left Amnesty International. After 40 years, the Scottish Cardinal Keith O'Brien has decided to leave the organisation because of its abortion policy. Internal divisions over the decision to support abortion under certain conditions are also posing a problem to the human rights organisation, in addition to the Vatican's call for a financial boycott.
The LifeLeague says: We wholeheartedly commend Cardinal O'Brien on his courageous stand. We call upon evangelical leaders to take a similar public stand. Please click here to see LifeLeague's press release. Click here to contact Cardinal Keith O'Brien, commend him on his decision. Please click here to contact the Evangelical Alliance, ask them to publicly stand against Amnesty's latest move. |

The National Board of Catholic Women (NBCW), a consultative body to the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales issued a statement supporting the response of Bishop Michael Evans of East Anglia Diocese to the changes made by Amnesty International to its policy on abortion.
The LifeLeague says: We welcome this courageous stand on the part of Catholic women. It is sad to note that the Mothers' Union have been so silent. Polish women choose UK for terminations?
The Polish Federation for Woman and Family Planning – a ‘pro-choice’ NGO - claims several thousand Polish women go abroad each year to have an abortion. “Women from Warsaw most often choose either Britain or the Netherlands”, says Wanda Nowicka who heads the Federation.
The LifeLeague says: As is often the case, pro-abortionists seek to exploit the vulnerable in our society. What these women need is help, understanding and support - not someone to kill their baby. We need to be busy, we need to keep up the pressure and keep campaigning, we need to be there for these vulnerable women.
