Who Do You Think You Are Kidding Mr Snow: Jon Snow IS Chairing a Session at Marie Stopes Conference - Why is he denying it?

Jon Snow is most upset that we have exposed his role in a pro-abortion conference. He is denying his involvement and stated (surprise, surprise) that he opposes us and our cause. We urge you to click here to have a look at the conference brochure. It says that the conference will "focus on both international and national issues associated with abortion, addressing rights, advocacy, access to services, and funding". It is hosted by Marie Stopes International in association with Abortion Rights and IPAS. Scroll down to page 5 and you will notice that, on day 2, session6, there will be an opening plenary session chaired by broadaster Jon Snow.

The LifeLeague says: We would suggest that you click here to ask Jon Snow what he is playing at. Is he lying, just very forgetful, etc? Ask him why is trying to deny his important role in this rabid pro-aborton role.

1 in 5 Pregnancies Worldwide Ends in Abortion

One in five pregnancies worldwide and one in three pregnancies in Europe ends in abortion, according to a new study published in a special female-focused issue of the Lancet. The study also found that, on average, 90 percent of women worldwide will have an abortion before the age of 45, based on 2003 data. However, many women will have had multiple abortions and many none at all to come to this average. Although the statistics may seem startling, worldwide rates of induced abortion actually fell 17 percent from 46 million to 42 million between 1995 and 2003.

The LifeLeague says: Let this encourage us all to redouble our pro-life campaigning efforts.

Abortion pill is ‘perfectly safe’ advisers tell inquiry by MPs

It is perfectly safe for women to take a pill and terminate their pregnancies at home, MPs have been told. In a move that could pave the way for relaxed laws, leading medical associations have also suggested that women should no longer have to seek the signatures of two doctors if they want an early abortion, as it can cause unnecessary delay and distress.

The LifeLeague says: This advice is clearly mistaken. Please click here to contact your MP, urge them to carefully question the pro-pill advice they've been given.

UK Cardinal Asks Catholic Hospital to Stop Referring for Abortion

Cardinal Cormac Murphy-OConnor, Britain's highest Catholic official, is standing firm in his refusal to allow a famous Catholic hospital to make abortion referrals or provide contraceptives.

St. John's and St. Elizabeth's hospital which has been operated under Church auspices since its founding in 1858, is now a favorite of pregnant celebrities, including movie stars Cate Blanchett and Emma Thompson and models Kate Moss and Heather Mills. It is the third largest independent hospital in the United Kingdom.

Cardinal O'Connor said, "If it came to crunch I would say this is no longer a Catholic hospital but I won't want to do that."

The LifeLeague says: We commend the cardinal on his principled stand, we urge you to click here and commend him also.
