MPs to be Given Free Vote on Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill
In the past, MPs were given a free vote, however it was thought that this time they would be made to vote along party lines because the embryology Bill is government legislation. However, Education Minister Lord Adonis said that Labour members would be able to vote with their conscience.

Baroness Finlay in Dangerous Pro-Death Move? |

It has been reported that Baroness Finlay of Llandaff wants an MP to propose amendments to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill which would see hormonal birth-control pills supplied to women without prescription.
The LifeLeague says: Such a move would be highly irresponsible. As well as being anti-life, these pills can be quite dangerous to the health of those taking them. Please click here to contact Baroness Finlay, ask her to rethink such a position. |

Pro-Life Anglican Minister a “Man on a Mission” to Secularized Britain |

While the news is full of indicators of the impending end of religious practice in Britain and the “post-Christian” west, one Anglican minister offers a word of encouragement.

Selfishness - A Major Factor in Abortion |

Problems with continuing their career is one of the biggest factors influencing Irish women to have an abortion, an international seminar on pregnancy and the workplace heard recently.
The LifeLeague says: Abortion access is an integral part of the 'me first' culture that secularism and materialism have spawned since the 1960s. we need to be active, as never before, in opposing this - and pro-life campaigning is the best way to do it, Rev Lameck's strong stand (see above story) is proof. |
