Britain's Missing Babies: A Chilling New Investigation Reveals a Disturbing Trend

There is a huge shortfall in the number of baby girls being born to British Asian families. Worrying new research reveals that between 1990 and 2005, about 1,500 fewer girls were born to Indian mothers living in England and Wales than would have been statistically probable for this group. Indeed, the Oxford University population expert who collated the information insists the discrepancy in birth ratios between boys and girls is too "sudden and pronounced to have a likely biological or environmental cause... the most probable explanation is sex-selective abortion".

The LifeLeague says: The revelation follows a threemonth investigation entitled 'Britain's Missing Girls' by a team from the highly-respected BBC Asian Network. Campaigning against sex selective abortion has always been an important part of LifeLeague's campaigning activity. This report is to be welcomed, serving as it does to place the highlight this important issue. We urge everyone to click here to listen to the 'Britain's Missing Girls' report.

DNA checks at Abortion Clinic Accused of Flushing Foetuses Down the Drain

Police investigating four abortion clinics in Barcelona used frequently by British women have been horrified to find purpose-built machines attached to the drains that were used to crush foetuses. The clinics allegedly performed illegal abortions on women into their eighth month of pregnancy. Because they were so loud, the machines – which fed into public drains – were switched on only during the early hours of the day to avoid drawing attention to the illegal arrangement, police sources said.

The LifeLeague says: We wouldn't expect anything else from people who kill babies for a money and their own self interest. We urge all of our supporters to pray for the police investigation, that those responsible may be brought to justice.

Images of Unborn Children 'Ruled Out' of Abortion Debate

Highly detailed ultrasound images which show foetuses "walking", smiling, yawning and rubbing their eyes in the womb do not have a scientific bearing on the debate over abortion, according to the government's response to a report from a committee of MPs.

The LifeLeague says: This comes as no surprise to us because the images in question prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the unborn child possesses a high degree of consciousness - thus powerfully testifying to its humanity, personhood and capacity to feel pain. Click here to email your MP, urge them to put pressure on our blindly pro-abortion government to change its mind on this issue and show some balance.

Abortion linked to drugs, alcohol abuse

Young women who have abortions are more likely to drink heavily and abuse hard drugs, an Australian study has found.

The LifeLeague says: We welcome these recent findings as yet another dose of sanity in the abortion debate. The moral, medical and scientific case against abortion is unanswerable and grows stronger by the day.
