Embryology Bill Heads for Vote

As the government came under pressure on Thursday to allow Labour MPs a free vote on the human fertilisation and embryology bill, the legislation’s supporters said they were confident its main provisions would be upheld.

The LifeLeague says: While there is still time, click here to urge your MP to vote in favour of life. LifeLeague will be monitoring Roman Catholic and Evangelical MPs in particular. It is vital that they (a) turn up for the votes and (b) use their votes for life.

Euthanasia: Alzheimer's or Cancer - Which Disease Would You Rather Die From?

Leading scientist, Dr Guy Brown, argues that cancer and heart disease should receive less research funding as they are relatively ‘desirable' ways to die.

The LifeLeague says: This article, while interesting, misses the whole point. We should always try to preserve 'life', euthanasia can never be right because it aborts the life of a sufferer - someone who needs care, not killing.
