Cardinal Strongly Opposes the HFE Bill. Will Protestants Do Likewise?

The leader of the Roman Catholic church in Scotland has urged Prime Minister Brown to rethink "monstrous" plans to allow hybrid human-animal embryos. Cardinal Keith O'Brien used his Easter Sunday sermon to launch an attack on the government's proposals.

The LifeLeague says: We suggest you click here to commend the cardinal for taking such a strong stand on this issue. It is a shame that the Protestant response has, thus far, been so muted. Please contact the Protestant churches and urge them to take a similar vocal stand on the subject. Click here to contact the Baptist Union. Click here to contact the Evangelical Alliance. Click here to contact the Church of Scotland. Click here to contact the Church of England.

We call for the HFE Bill to be defeated, we call for all MPs (including government ministers) to be given a free vote. Furthermore, we urge all Catholic, Evangelical and morally conservative MPs to do everything they can to defeat this iniquitous legislation. Pray that God will intervene and click here to urge your MP to vote against it.
