Bishop Compares China to Nazi Germany Due to Abortion
As he condemned the Beijing Games, the Bishop of Motherwell branded China’s rulers “inhuman” and said they had committed “evil atrocities” against millions of their own people. He went on to list a number of examples, two of which were "forced abortions and sterilisation of women."
The LifeLeague says: Let us, as pro-lifers, do everything we can to highlight China's abortion record during the Olympic protests. We urge you to contact the bishop by clicking here, please mark your messages for his attention and commend him on his strong and courageous stand.

Senior Church of Scotland Cleric in Controversy |
|
| |
A senior Church of Scotland minister has questioned the wisdom of spending large amounts of money keeping older people alive. The Reverend Maxwell Craig, 76, feels that funding could be better spent helping the young stay out of trouble. He believes that people over 75 would often prefer to die, rather than live a "half-life" with reduced physical and mental abilities.
The LifeLeague says: It is sad to see a mature and respected church figure exhibiting such a skewed view of the real world. Taken logically, this idea would end the life of Rev Craig himself! We ask you to click here in order to send a message to the Church of Scotland's 'Church and Society Council', urge them to condemn Rev Craig's comments.
