Catholic MP to Waver in Coming Vote?
Shrewsbury's Conservative MP Daniel Kawczynski said he wanted to hold a public meeting before the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill vote. Roman Catholic Mr Kawczynski said he may put aside his religious views if others believed it was a good idea.
The LifeLeague says: We have made it clear all along that we would be monitoring how Catholic and Evangelical MPs acted in relation to the forthcoming HFE vote. Daniel Kawczynski will have no excuse whatsoever if he doesn't oppose the bill. Furthermore, his own party has given MPs a free vote on this issue - thus allowing him total freedom to exercise his vote in accordance with his RC faith. We urge you to click here to contact Mr. Kawczynski and urge him to do all in his power to serve the cause of life during the passage of the HFE Bill. We urge all Catholic and Evangelical MPs to hold their nerve and stand firm.

13 Year Olds Are Treated for Venereal Disease in Merseyside |
|
| |
Forget sex, lies and videotape. Try sex, hometruths and a welter of disturbing stats – including how kids as young as 13 are being treated for venereal diseases in Merseyside.
The LifeLeague says: Once again we have more proof that the government sex education policy is a shambles. Please click here to contact your MP - remind them that our 13 year olds deserve better than this. Call for a teen sex strategy that addresses the real problem - i.e. immoral behaviour and not taking responsibility for one's own actions.

Legalised Abortion Doesn't Reduce Crime - Yet Another Pro-Abortion Myth Destroyed |
|
| |
A trio of economists have released the results of a new study disproving the supposed link between the legalisation of abortion and a reduction in crime. Three economists -- Cal State University economics professor Leo Kahane, Nottingham University Business School professor David Paton and Rob Simmons of Lancaster University -- reviewed the hypothesis using both American and British data.
The LifeLeague says: Once again, the scientific and moral supremacy of the pro-life position has been established by yet more evidence. This does not bode well for the forces of pro-abortionism, they can only ignore the truth for so long.
