Girls Aged 12 Have Abortions
Girls aged as young as 12 are having abortions, figures released for the first time by the Department of Health reveal. The figures, obtained by The Sunday Times using freedom of information legislation, show that each year 10 to 15 girls aged 12 have abortions. The government initially refused to disclose the figures by claiming patient confidentiality.

Josephine Woodgate was 25 when she had one of the UK's earliest legal abortions. 40 years after women were given the legal right to abortion, she remains haunted by the choice she made.
"I was panicking, I couldn't think straight, I was nearly 12 weeks pregnant and was depressed; we didn't even have a proper home. The nurses weren't very friendly...Nobody came to talk to me or give me any advice and I was terrified. Nobody told you what was going to happen. Over the years, the regret I felt has never waned. Even now, I still catch myself wondering about the child I might have had, if only I had been given more information at the time."

Jewish Community Should Oppose Embryo Bill |

We were somewhat dismayed to learn that our Jewish Leaders are giving their full support for the Human Fertilization and Embryology Bill especially when there is a strong Yiddish tradition of valuing and respecting all human beings equally regardless of personal characteristics.
The LifeLeague says: We would like to add our voices to those urging Jews to be loyal to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and do their utmost to oppose the Hitlerian HFE Bill. |

Abortion Clinic Closed After 40 Day Prayer Vigil |

An abortion clinic announced its closure on April 25. It was one of 50 centers targeted by the “40 Days for Life” prayer campaign.
