Abortion Figures Released Due to Pressure

Newly released figures from health trusts reveal, for the first time, the number of Essex women who have had abortions.  These figures have been published in response to pressure from Southend West MP David Amess, a prominent Roman Catholic, who wants to see abortion law tightened.

The LifeLeague says: The reluctance of abortion supporters and providers to release this kind of information smacks of a whitewash, trying to cover-up the full extent of abortionism's handiwork.

Christians Called Upon to Oppose Abortion

In reference to pregnant women, the term "with child" occurs twenty-six times in the Bible.  In Luke chapter one, verses 36 and 41, we are told that Elisabeth conceived a "son" and that the "babe" leaped in her womb.

The LifeLeague says: We commend those who are trying to raise the profile of the abortion issue amongst Christians.  The sleeping giant of world Christendom must be awoken to the truth.
