As part of The LifeLeague’s campaign of tracking down and exposing those who facilitate abortion in this country, our research unearthed Sue Bush, a nurse who would make Florence Nightingale turn in her grave.
The Nurse of the Year awards were set up to accolade those deemed to be the backbone of the NHS and worthy of praise for their care of patients. This year, alongside those eulogised for looking after those suffering from terminal cancer and mental health problems was Sue Bush (52), who won the award for the sexual health category.
Susan is a different sort of nurse. Unlike a midwife that assists a mother giving birth and helps deliver new life into the world, Susan kills the babies. Susan assists in the destruction of unborn babies by having them torn to pieces in the womb and sucked out like so much rubbish, but does so in such an efficient manner that she is a Nurse of the Year.
As senior nurse in the termination of pregnancy service at King's College Hospital, London, Susan's innovative practice has made the whole experience of having one's baby destroyed a much more bearable and pleasant one. She describes killing babies as ……"a fulfilling job"….Our campaign involved an email alert which encouraged our supporters to email her and the Nursing Standard for their support of her actions. We also published her home address, allowing us to personalise our campaign - rather than lose impetus like a wave breaking on the solid institution of the NHS.
The campaign was well-supported, with many nurses even shocked at Ms Bush’s award bringing their chosen profession into disrepute. Naturally, the press coverage was in many ways quite negative, as it always is when anti-abortion campaigning is concerned, but we succeeded in getting the message out.
We will be mounting campaigns such as this over a period of time in an effort to bring home to abortion practitioners and facilitators that we are holding them personally responsbile for the killings of innocent children. Far from being allowed to leave their ‘professional’ hats at work, we will endeavour to show them that the consequences of their actions are not consigned to an abortionists’ table, but resonate throughout our land.
We hope that Sue has had the good sense to review her actions in the light of the material that has been sent to her and that this is the last time she will even be nominated for a reward in this field.
